Attractions Along the Trail

In addition to the fabulous views, visitors can enjoy a range of fun attractions all along the trail. Explore Fort Ord National Monument, picnic overlooking the Bay, stop for a rest at Lovers Point, play in the tide pools at Monterey State Beach, catch a glimpse of seals and whales, and enjoy the descriptive signs marking notable stops along the way.

    The trail starts in Castroville, heading south and passing through Marina, Fort Ord, Sand City, Seaside, Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Pebble Beach on its 29-mile journey.
